MUMBAI, JANUARY 27: Mirc Electronics Ltd, manufacturers of the Onida brand of TV has fared exceedingly well for the third quarter ended December 1999, with sales rising by 34 per cent to Rs 248 crore and net profit zooming by 118 per cent to Rs 17.29 crore over the comparative period of the previous financial year.

The directors have recommended a third interim dividend of 50 per cent for the current financial year 1999-2000. This along with the previous two interim dividend of 35 per cent and 15 per cent declared earlier takes the total to 100 per cent so far.
