Singh got the job last week after Sandeep Patil refused the assignment8212;he wanted a long-term contract. 8216;8216;I have been in such situations earlier and am in a position to deliver,8217;8217; said Singh.

Singh is confident that the team will deliver8212;India plays Holland next Sunday. 8216;8216;This team knows that it has to deliver if it wants to jump to the next level. It8217;s a good learning experience. All that I need to do is to show them the path,8217;8217; he said.

Singh added that he would stay in touch with Team India coach Greg Chappell during and after the tournament to 8216;8216;keep him updated8217;8217;.

The winners of the tournament would get 25,000 while the runners-up would receive 15,000. The player of the tournament would be richer by 3,000. The winning team in every match will get 1,000 and the loser 500. Each man-of-the-match award carries prize money of 500.
