England8217;s former assistant coach Matthew Maynard, now replaced by Andy Flower, is considering an offer from the BCCI to work at the National Cricket Academy in galore. 8220;I8217;ve been asked to go out to India to work with their academy, and I8217;m sure there will be one or two more offers coming in,8221; Maynard told BBC Wales Sport.
8220;But I8217;m just going to take my time, I don8217;t want to rush into anything,8221; he added.
Incidentally, BCCI has offered a consultant8217;s post to former Team India coach Greg Chappell, who is also yet to make up his mind. After Duncan Fletcher quit the England coach8217;s post, new coach Peter Moores brought in Flower, who hastily retired from playing for Essex to take up the new job. Maynard had worked as Fletcher8217;s deputy since May 2005 and his contract was until the end of summer.
