MUMBAI, August 12: Marathi will be introduced as the official language for all correspondence in courts across the state soon.
Announcing this at a function on Tuesday the state minister for law and judiciary Leeladhar Dake said the state government would first provide the required infrastructure like Marathi stenos and typists. He said a meeting was held with the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court a few weeks ago regarding the modalities of introducing Marathi in courts.
