CHANDIGARH, May 25: The Chandigarh Administration today gave the charge of some vacant departments to the existing officers in addition to their present jobs.
While DPI (Schools), D.S. Mangat, was given the additional charge of DPI (Colleges), UT Director, Social Welfare, Prithi Chand, was given the additional charge of Joint Secretary, Finance. Director, Environment, H.S. Sohal, was given the additional charge of Director, Science and Technology.
The departments had earlier fallen vacant after the former UT Joint Secretary, Finance, Sanjay Kumar, was repatriated to his parent state of Punjab, following his transfer as DC of Mansa.
