MUMBAI, January 1: Loyola Sports Club (Pune) edged past Bombay YMCA 46-42 in the first Father Agnel Open Basketball tournament at the Father Agnel High School, Vashi today.

Chirag Pardesh scored 17 points and took Loyola through, despite Khan Saifullam’s nine points which proved inadequate for Bombay YMCA. The win took Loyola into the semifinals where they face Indian Gymkhana tomorrow.
