NEW DELHI, November 6: Lok Dal President Ajit Singh today cleared the second list of eleven candidates for Delhi Assembly elections.

The candidates cleared today are: Mehrudeen Pawar (Shahbad Daulatpur), Rajni George (Adarsh Nagar), Prem Kaushik (Saket), Kamraj Siddiqui (Okhla), Som Pal (Narela-reserve), Manmohan Lal (Matia Mahal), Shaukat Ali (Badarpur), Udayveer Singh (Mandawali), Mahesh Datt Tyagi (Shalimar Bagh). The Janata Dal also released its list of 51 candidates for the November 25 Delhi Assembly elections today.

It, however, chose to leave the Vishnu Garden seat to Akali Dal (Mann) and the Gole Market seat to the CPI. The list released by the party’s Chairman of the Parliamentary Board, Ram Vilas Paswan, includes Mohammed Shoeb Iqbal from the Matia Mahal constituency. Meanwhile, the national president of the All-India Minorities Front, S.M. Asif, today announced his party’s decision to support to the Congress party in the coming Assembly elections.
