LIC’s personal insurance business up 8.34 per cent

During current fiscal, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) did business of Rs 1,06445.15 crore and its personal insurance business grew by 8.34 per cent during this fiscal as compared to previous year, LIC chairman S. B. Mathur said. Mathur said that the public-sector company was doing well in competition with 12 other companies including both public and private sector. He said that LIC had been working to cut down its expenditure and providing more value to its customers.
