NEW DELHI, November 29: The Sri Lankan girls took a firm grip over the rest of the participating teams in the second Asian Youth Netball championships at the IG Stadium here today. In their game against Singapore, the Lankan s scored a convincing 55-36 victory to keep their slate clean with eight points. Singapore are behind the Lankans in the points table. Indian girls suffered yet another defeat when they went down to Maldives 39-48 while Malaysia, another superpower in this sports, trounced Hong Kong 68-21.
