CHANDIGARH, MAY 16: Jaskaranjeet Singh and Anmol Razdan emerged winners in the under-10 and under-8 group, respectively, in the Chandigarh State chess tournament held at the Sector 42 Sports Complex, here today. Jaskaranjeet secured four points at the end of the last round to take home the title. The meet was organised by Chandigarh Chess Association.Ravi Gupta got the second place in the under-10 category.Second position in the under-8 section went to Anshul Kadian while Ankit Kadian took the third spot. Selected players will also take part in the National meet.Points at the end of the last round: Jaskranjeet Singh, Ravi Gupta, Abhishek Kuamr (4 points); Nikhil Chopra (3 points); Himanshu Kakkar and Mohit Batra (2.5 points); Gurbir Singh and Divay SIngh Jamwal (2 points); Sikander Pratap Singh and Avjit Singh (1 point).
