
S.A.S. NAGAR, Oct 14: Off-spinner Jaisreet Singh spun Chandigarh to an emphatic 170-run first-innings lead win over Jalandhar and enter the semifinal of the Punjab Inter-District (under-19) Dhruve Pandove Trophy cricket here today.
Jaisreet claimed four for 23 as Jalandhar, chasing Chandigarh’s huge first innings score of 336 for 8, were allout for 166. Only Anurag Sharma (64) showed any desire to fight while the others simply caved in.
Chandigarh were 74 for 5 in whatever time available in their second innings before play was called off.
