France designates Jaipur blasts as act of ‘unacceptable horror’ and promises cooperation to fight terror.

France on Wednesday condemned the Jaipur serial blasts as act of “unacceptable horror” and expressed readiness to intensify its cooperation with India “more than ever before” in the fight against terror.

“I would like to express my indignation and repulsion at the wave of blasts which has plunged the city of Jaipur in grief,” French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner said in a statement released by the Embassy in New Delhi.

“These blasts have struck at the hearts of our Indian friends, at the heart of their daily life,” he said.

Kouchner said France stands beside India and the Indian people in the “face of this unacceptable horror” and assured complete solidarity to New Delhi.

“More than ever before, France is prepared to intensify its cooperation with India in the fight against terrorism,” he said.
