INDIANAPOLIS, AUG 17: American qualifier Jared Palmer extended Goran Ivanisevic8217;s losing streak to four consecutive matches when he won a 6-7 6-8 6-4 6-3 first round match at the 870,000 ATP Tour RCA Championships in Indianapolis yesterday.

The top eight seeds, led by world number one Pete Sampras and fourth-ranked Patrick Rafter of Australia, received first-round byes.
