This World Tourism Day, tuck into international food flavours

It couldn8217;t be better timed. With the World Tourism Day falling over the weekend, September 27 to be precise, CITCO is making the most of it. And for a change they are going international. Rolling out this Saturday and Sunday will be an international food festival at Hotel Mountview that will bring in the likes of Mexican, Italian and Continental fare. If Italian fare excites you then expect to dig into the likes of 8216;Lamb Ala Pomodoro8217; which will bring in lamb that8217;s been cooked over slow fire and then tossed with basil flavoured tomato concase. Then there8217;s the uber popular 8216;Ratatouille8217; which is a vegetarian extravaganza with its All English vegetables tossed in garlic and then mixed with classic tomato concase sauce and herbs and spices covered with cheese and baked to the perfection. Speaking of Italian cuisine the chefs at the hotel have brought in a version of Lasagane too. But if you fond of all food baked then opt for the Continental fare here which will see 8216;Creole Fish8217;, 8216;Summer Chicken8217;, 8216;Cottage Cheese overlay8217; and 8216;Cauliflower Mornay8217;. The latter brings in a baked delicacy with florets of cauliflower mixed with mornay sauce, herbs and spices. Completing the global spread is Mexican fare with 8216;Polo Loco8217;, 8216;Veg Tex Mex8217; and some Cottage Cheese Fajitas. According to CITCO8217;s Managing Director Niharika Rai, the food festival will lay out the international cuisine in the form of a buffet priced at Rs 399 inclusive of all taxes per person. The two-day festival will be on all day till September 28 at Hotel Mountview.
