
CHENNAI, DEC 12: Ireland bridled the joy of Denmark, who mauled Pakistan in their first outing, by scoring a thumping nine-wicket victory in the Hero Honda sixth Women’s World Cup group A league match at the MA Chidambaram stadium here on Friday.
Denmark were shot out for 56 in a rain-truncated match of 23 overs. Ireland reached the target with a degree of comfort, making 57 for one in 19.1 overs.
