The fine run of the Indian women’s recurve team at the 4th World Cup continued as they entered the semi-finals of the team event defeating Chinese Taipei 215-210 in Dover.

The fine run of the Indian women’s recurve team at the 4th World Cup continued as they entered the semi-finals of the team event defeating Chinese Taipei 215-210 in Dover.

The Indian team of Dola Banerjee, Chekrovolu Swuro and Bombayla Devi, which got a first round bye, will now take on Italy in the round of four on Saturday.

Italy made it to the semi-finals defeating Ukraine 213-210. In the other semi-final, hosts Britain will lock horns with Poland. In the quarter finals, Britain defeated China 216-214 and Poland got the better of Turkey 216-194.

No luck in the men’s section as the team of Rahul Banerjee, Tarundeep Rai and Somai Murmu were beaten by a point (220-219) by hosts Britain in the elimination Round of Four. Earlier, India overcame Ukraine 214-209 in round one.
