NEW DELHI, Nov 8: The time for camouflage was over as the Indians got their first taste of power game today. And though the hosts put up a brave resistance, they ultimately bowed to the stronger, and tactically superior Chinese 60-71 in their last group B match of the Asian School Basketball Championships, at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium. The Indians trailed 39-40 at the interval.

The loss implies that India will now face Group A leaders South Korea in the semi-finals, while the Chinese will have a relatively easier time against the Philippines.

Scores (Group B): China 71 (Wu Manzhi 26, Tang Lun 18) bt India 60 (Man Singh 16, Narender Kumar 13)
