Peninsula: Mainly dry.

Islands: A few places in Nicobar; isolated places in Andaman and mainly dry in Lakshadweep.

A massive landslide in Himachal Pradesh's Bilaspur district struck a private bus, resulting in the death of at least 18 passengers. The accident occurred in the Bhalughat area and rescue operations are ongoing with slim chances of survival. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed grief and directed officials to expedite rescue efforts. Intermittent rains have been hindering the operations.
