India held Oman to a goalless draw in the Asian Zone Group 3 tie of the World Cup qualifying football in Muscat today. It was the last engagement for India who had lost to Oman at home earlier. India were already out of the reckoning after heavy losses to Singapore away and Japan at home and away. A 1-0 win over Singapore at Goa was the only moment of glory for the Indians.
