Zaheer Abbas to lead Pak veterans
MUMBAI: Former left-handed middle order batsman Zaheer Abbas will lead an 18-member Pakistan veterans8217; cricket team in five one day internationals against India from October 25 to November 5. The venues of the matches would be fixed later, a release stated here today.

The team: Zaheer Abbas capt, Javid Miandad, Mudassar Nazar, Asif Iqbal, Wasim Raja, Rizwan-ul-Zaman, Tauseef Ahmed, Majid Khan, Farookh Zaman, Mansoor Akhtar, Salim Jaffar, Zahid Ahmed, Jalalluddin, Shahid Mahboob, Tasleem Arif, Sajid Ali and Iqbal Qasim.

U-15 team tour
CHANDIGARH: The School Games Federation of India has received an invitation from England and Wales Cricket Board to send an under-15 cricket team to tour England from August 2-25, according to SGFI general secretary B D Gandhi. The SGFI secretary general said here today that 30-35 probables would be selected during the selection trials to be held at Ludhiana from June 7-9.
