Team departs
MUMBAI:
The 15-member Indian cricket team left for the 74-day tour of Australia on Tuesday. Hrishikesh Kanitkar , late replacement for the injured Ajay Jadeja, did not leave with the team since he is in the West Indies representing the India A team. It is still not known whether he will fly directly from West Indies to Australia or come to India.

Duleep venues
MUMBAI:
The five-day Duleep Trophy match between North Zone and South Zone scheduled at Calcutta from December 1-5 will be held at Agartala. The East vs West Zone match to be held from December 9-13 has been shifted to Calcutta from Agartala.

Top seeds out
CALCUTTA:
Top seeds Karan Doctor and P Ravikrishna lost to unfancied players in the boys singles of the ITF Junior Tennis Championship. Nishank Mishra ousted top seed Doctor 6-2 6-1 while second seed Ravikrishna lost to qualifier MA Salman 6-3 6-3.

East Bengal upset
CALCUTTA:
Tollygunge Agragami stunned East Bengal 4-1 via tie-breaker to rompinto the final of the IFA Shield Football Tournament on Tuesday. Chandan Das, Biswanath Mandal, Partha Sarathi Dey and Debasis Pal Chowdhury converted for Tolly while Ghanaian CA Kennedy scored for Bengal.

Scissors Cup
KOCHI:
Eight teams will participate in the Scissors Cup football tournament beginning from December 2. FC Kochin, SBT, Kerala Police, Titanium, Keltron, Fact, KSEB and Central Excise were the teams listed for participation.

GULBARGA:
