Cricket Board secretary Jaywant Lele said there would be no more changes for the last two one-dayers against New Zealand after leg-spinner Anil Kumble was rested ahead of the Australian tour at his own request.Javagal Srinath and Venkatesh Prasad, as well as left-handed opener S Ramesh, nursing a sore shoulder, were rested after the first two matches.

Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi have confirmed participation in the ATP Tour Challenger tournament, at Lucknow from November 29 to December 4. Syed Fazaluddin will be the third Indian player in the main draw,tournament director Dr Vece Paes said today.

Ajit Wijetilak lost to Cheng Hong 5-15, 15-10, 12-15. India were without top ranked P Gopi Chand and Nikhil Kanetkar. China, Indonesia, Malaysia and South Korea entered the semis.

Punjab cops in final
CHANDIGARH:
While Punjab Police eased into the final with an authoritative 105-75 win over Railways, the women lost to Kerala 45-56 in the Federation Cup basketball semi-final today.
The cops will meet Indian Bank, who beat Army 69-65, in the final. Kerala run into MP, who accounted for AP 56-46.

PSB in last four
JALANDHAR:
Punjab amp; Sind Bank PSB and star-studded Punjab Police were ensured of semi-finalberths from Group II after convincing wins in the 16th Surjit hockey tournament here. The two teams face each other in the final league outing tomorrow.
