AHMEDNAGAR, Oct 1: The Athare Medical Foundation (AMF), on the first Sunday of every month, will hold a programme of immunisation against Hepatitis-B (H-B), at its Athare Patil Research Centre here.
Talking to newsmen here noted surgeon Anil Athare said the virus of H-B, commonly known as jaundice,affetced one out of 20 people in India. The disease is classified into six categories – A, B, C, D, E, and G.
He explained that it was essential to bring about awareness among the people.In absence of efficacious medicines and remedies for H-B, it is advisable to take preventive measures. RDNA vaccination is an effective remedy.
