Illegal structures removed

CHANDIGARH, May 15: About 30 structures were removed in Sector 15, here today, in a drive by the Municipal Corporation.

According to officials, these structures included walls, gates and hedges which were built on encroached land. Officials said that the residents had filed a petition in this regard which was dismissed by the court.

The operation was supervised by K.B. Sharma, Superintending Engineer, who was accompanied by Tehsildar K.S. Gill.
