HYDERABAD, MARCH 11: Hyderabad (13 points) need an outright victory over Group B leaders Baroda (18 points) in their last Super League match to qualify for the next stage.

The four-day match, which has been advanced by a day, begins at the Gymkhana tomorrow.

Punjab and Railways — with 16 and 14 points respectively and still in the reckoning — meet each other in another crunch match of the group on Monday.

Hyderabad are still looking for a win. They garnered five points each against Bihar and Railways while managing three against Punjab in their opening match. Having squandered winning chances against Bihar and Railways, Hyderabad, who have reached the semi-finals in the last two seasons, are groping for survival.

Baroda are comparatively better placed. Even three points from this match could see them through to the last eight. The team has been strengthened by the presence of India wicket-keeper Nayan Mongia.

Teams (from):

Hyderabad: Venkatapathi Raju (captain), VVS Laxman, Nanda Kishore, Vanka Pratap, Vinay Kumar, Parth Satwalkar, Arjun Yadav, Kanwaljit Singh, NP Singh, Fiaz Ahmed, Daniel Manohar, Youraj Singh, Shivaji Yadav, Riaz Sheik, Anirudh Singh, Raghuram.

Baroda: Tushar Arothe (captain), Connor Williams, RA Swaropp, Atul Bedade, Himshu Jhadav, Valmik Buch, Shekar Joshi, Zahir Khan, Ajit Bohite, Irafab Pathan, Milap Mewada, Nayan Mongia (wk), Jacob Martin, Rakesh Pate.
