A few years back the then ruling party at the Centre had changed the study material in NCERT books. The party was accused of pushing its political thoughts in schools through textbooks. The present government at the Centre 8212; through HRD Minister Arjun Singh 8212; is reversing the wheel. Thus, there is similarity in action, if not in political thought. Consequently, who suffers? We, the students. Continuous changes in the syllabus create problems for students.

All state governments should introduce VAT. Shame on the AIADMK and BJP, who have brought politics into this.

8226; This is a very mindless argument, that Tendulkar has matured with the bat, which explains his batting style now. Does maturity lie in checking your shots? Just so that you don8217;t get out? Can you apply the same rule to the Bangalore Test as well? All India needed was to store 350-odd runs on the final day, with 90 overs in hand. India had all 10 wickets, with all those great bats. All I know is that one should play to win. That8217;s maturity. Please don8217;t make excuses for Tendulkar. He is a great player, I just hope that he doesn8217;t slip from the pedestal.
