How I Keep Fit

...

.

What was your diet for the Kingfisher calendar?
I was following a high protein diet for two months. I could only eat vegetables, fruits, fish, chicken, paneer and tofu. The veggies had to be eaten raw or stir-fried. I also had to eat two protein bars a day.

And the workouts?
It was quite rigorous. I was working out twice a day, doing cardio every morning and weights in the evening. I had to burn a minimum of 500 calories in every cardio session. My life revolved around that regime for two months. Sticking to it when I was shooting or travelling was really tough.

Did you have any cravings?
Chocolate. My biggest fantasy is a world made of chocolate. Every time I craved for something sweet, I ate one of the protein bars in chocolate chip, cinnamon or peanut butter flavours.

Are you eating healthy even now?
Every morning I eat a few almonds that have been soaked in water overnight and drink a glass of palak, methi and wheat grass juice. It provides plenty of roughage and iron. I8217;ve slowly started eating carbs.

What8217;s your favourite body part?
My upper body8212;everyone tells me I8217;ve got well toned arms and flat abs.
