SYDNEY, SEPT 26: India squandered a 3-2 lead and went down 3-5 to Canada in a keenly contested bronze medal playoff to end their campaign on a dismal note in the four-nation pre-Olympic Hockey Tournament here today.
Australia edged past South Korea 2-1 to clinch the gold medal. India8217;s goal scorers were Deepak Thakur 2 and Dilip Tirkey while Peter Milkovich 2, Paul Watterlaufer, Rob Short and Andrew Griffiths scored for Canada.
