HJC announces 2 canditates for Lok Sabha polls, including a former BJP leader

President of the Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC), Kuldeep Bishnoi, today announced names of two party candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Addressing a rally at Kerorimal Park, Bhiwani, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the party’s inception, Bishnoi said the party had decided to field Rao Narbir Singh from Gurgaon Parliamentary seat and Chander Bhatia from Faridabad. Bhatia, a former BJP leader formally joined the HJC today during the rally.

Promising a slew of measures for welfare of women, youth and the farmers in the state, Bishnoi promised Rs 600 per month for woman and old age pension of Rs 700. He also promised free water for every household and Rs 3 lakh interest-free loan to the farmers.

Attacking UPA Chairperson and Congress president Sonia Gandhi, he held her responsible for all the ills in the country. He also flayed the performance of the Congress government in Haryana and dismissed all talks of him going back to the Congress.

Former CM Bhajan Lal announced that the next HJC rally will be held in Rewari on December 21. Earlier, a two-minute silence was observed in memory of the people killed in the Mumbai terrorist attack.
