CHANDIGARH, Aug 15: Jimmy8217;s hat-trick in the second half enabled Uganda to score a 3-2 win over Nigeria to get a berth in the final of the football tournament organised by African Students Association of Chandigarh at the Punjab University today.
Uganda, down by two goals to nil in the first half of the match, fought back strongly in the second session to win the contest. The first half was dominated by Nigeria. After the change of ends, Uganda players were on the attack and three superb goals by Jimmy sealed Nigeria8217;s fate.
Emmanuel and Malika shot one each for Nigeria in the first half. The final match will be played on August 22 at the same venue.
