Group song competition held

CHANDIGARH, Aug 20: The Kendriya Arya Yuvak Parishad, Chandigarh organised a group song competition in Arya Samaj, Sector 16, here today to mark the culmination of the Golden Jubilee of Independence. A large number of schools participated in the competition.

Principal Desraj Bhatia Memorial running trophy was won by Army Public School, Chandimandir while second and third prizes were awarded to A.C.C.D.A.V. Senior Public School, Surajpur and Chaman Lal D.A.V. Senior Public School, Panchkula respectively.

Veteran freedom fighter and Arya Samaj leader O P Vij gave away the prizes.
