Gold prices zoom

MUMBAI, Nov 11:Gold prices zoomed by Rs 70 per ten gram on the bullion market here Thursday on firm overseas advices along with good local buying.

Standard gold opened firm at Rs 4635 and rose further towards the fag end to finish at Rs 4650, showing a sharp rally of Rs 70 over the last close of Rs 4580. 22-carat gold was nominally quoted firm at Rs 4300 against Rs 4240 and 10-tola gold bar shot up by Rs 900 to close at Rs 54,500 against Rs 53,600.
