While it was LK Advani8217;s wife Kamala and daughter Pratibha who toyed with the idea of an autobiography, they were not the first to moot the idea of a book. Veteran journalists M V Kamath and Janardan Thakur had earlier asked Advani to pen his memoirs but the BJP leader had not shown much interest then. After Pratibha managed to get Advani to write his autobiography, she went a step further. She got a cameraperson and made her father record many of his landmark moments on camera while writing the book. Who knows, Pratibha, a documentary filmmaker, may make good use of the stored footage in the days to come.
