Four women pickpockets arrested

PANCHKULA, Sept 3: Four women pickpockets were caught by the police even as a case was registered against them yesterday.

Hari Chand, a resident of Chandimandir lodged a complaint that he was waiting for a bus at a local bus stop when his pocket was picked. He discovered the theft only after getting into the bus. The wallet contained Rs 200 along with some papers.

Following the report, the police nabbed Mohni, Shakuntla, Deepika and Sunita, all belonging to nomadic tribes who have put up their tents in the city. The four have been booked under Section 379 of the IPC and were produced in court today.
