NASHIK, July 24: The Malegaon Court today sentenced four persons to one year rigorous imprisonment and a fine of 1,000 rupees each, for killing four deer.

The four accused 8212; Mohammed Shafik Moosa, Abdul Khalik, Shafiq Ahmed Mohammed Yasin and Mohammed Gufran Ramzan 8212; had ventured into prohibited forest area and killed four deer on September 24, 1992. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the Naagchhap slum area and caught the accused.
