
With construction of a flyover set to start soon at the Datta Mandir Sainath Subway Junction of Western Express Highway at Kurar Village, the traffic authorities and the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation MSRDC have decided to implement a set of traffic restrictions owing to the large volume of traffic at theplace. The flyover is being constructed under the Mumbai Urban Infrastructure Project. The changes in the traffic routes, for smooth flow of traffic and for overall safety at the construction site, are as follows:
For the traffic coming from Samtanagar Kandivali near Times of India and going to Datta Mandir Road for Sainath Subway, right turn is closed .
For going to Malad East, traffic will go further on WEH upto Pathanwadi / Ranisati Subway, take a 8216;U8217; turn under this subway and go to Malad East via Daftary Road 038; Rani Sati Marg.
For going to Malad West, traffic will go further on WEH upto Dindoshi Flyover take a right turn under the flyover, go to Goregaon Mulund Link road and reach Malad West via Pravasi Junction, Pandurangwadi and Savarkar Bridge.
For traffic coming from Mamaledar wadi and going to Datta Mandir road via Sainath Subway left turn is closed . Vehicles will have to take a right turn after crossing the subway, take a left turn at Malad East railway station chowk and go to Daftary Road or Pushpa Park Shantaram Talav via Ranisati Marg or Pathanwadi/ Ranisati Subway via Ranisati Marg.
Traffic will be allowed to take right / left turn at Ranisati subway location to go WEH.
For the traffic on WEH coming from Goregaon side to Kandivali side and going to Datta Mandir Road, left turn will remain available . nbsp;
The left turn remains available for local traffic coming from Datta Mandir Road to go to WEH south side via right turn under Akurli Subway or via right turn under Thakur Complex Junction.
