NEW DELHI, May 17: A fire broke out in a factory complex in Peeragarhi last night. Twenty five fire tenders took around nine hours to control the fire.

No casualties were reported. The fire reportedly broke out at around 12.30 a.m. and was brought under control by around 10 a.m.. A shoe factory was operating from the basement and ground floors and a plastic album-making factory was functioning from the first floor. The police say that neither the cause of the fire nor the extent of the damage is known. In another fire, a saree shop and a chemists8217; shop were gutted in a fire in Sarojini Nagar. There was no loss of life.

The incident occurred around 1.30 a.m.. A short circuit is said to be the cause of the fire.
