FCI Headquarters defeated FCI West Zone 2-0 in the inaugural match of the 38th Food Corporation of India (FCI) All India Inter Zonal Tournament, organised by the FCI Punjab Supports Promotion Committee Ludhiana, at the Guru Nanak Stadium on Friday.In the second match of the day, North Zone drubbed South Zone in a one-sided affair by 4-0. Saravjit Singh, General Manager, FCI Punjab, inaugurated the tournament. Three matches will be played on Saturday. The first match will be played between east Zone and North Zone while the second match will be between South Zone and West Zone. The third match will be between headquarters and NEF Zone.
