CHANDIGARH, Jan 14: The jail break case today came up before UT Additional District and Sessions Judge S.S. Lamba for recording of statements of two more witnesses.

Harsharan Singh today deposed before the court that he owned the fast food joint from where pizzas were sent on orders to the jail. The witness also stated that he had given the related computerised bills to the police.

Another witness, Labh Singh deposed that on visits to the jail he got acquainted to the superintendent, S.P. Mishra who allowed him to see the inmates.

He stated in September 1997, Mishra was arranging meetings of the accused with their relatives when some Satnam Singh came to see Jagtar Singh Hawara. He said Hawara told Satnam that he could send any material to him through Mishra. Labh Singh today identified Mishra, but did not identify Hawara and Satnam. He was declared hostile by prosecution.

For not stating the truth in certain matters. His cross examination was deferred till February 25.
