MUMBAI, January 8: The bubbly 22-year-old Farah Khan beat back a late resurgence from second seed Judith Walia to complete a creditable double in the National Women8217;s Billiards and Snooker Championships that came to an end this evening at the IIT Campus.
Farah, who a few days back completed a hat-trick of billiads titles, added the snooker crown as fellow Karanataka player Judith Walia, who had tough five-frame encounter against Varsha Mujmudar in the sem-finals lapsed into a series of errors when victory seemed within her grasp.
Farah became the first women8217;s player since Pooja Galundia to accomplish the billiards-snooker double in women8217;s nationals.
