Facing Fame

Loading her photographs on a social networking site has paid off beyond her expectations and she has earned a 2-year contract with Elite modeling agency besides the chance to feature in Elle, the leading fashion magazine.

Ace fashion photographer Daboo Ratnani, no less, would be shooting her portfolio.

A winner of the 8216;Ibibo Fresh Face8217; contest, Priya is obviously on cloud nine.

8220;I always wanted to be a part of modeling but never knew that step 1 would be so easy,8221; she says as she remembers logging on to Ibibo, the new social networking site on the block.

8220;The process was simple. I just had to sign up for an account on the site and upload my photographs on the I Fresh Face domain,8221; says Priya.

8220;To my surprise, a lot of users voted for me helping me win the coveted I Fresh Face crown ,8221; says the BCA student from Integral University, Lucknow.

Daughter of a government officer, Priya, who missed first round of auditions because of her exams, is now readying herself for the auditions scheduled on January 12 in Mumbai.

8220;I am excited and keeping my fingers crossed,8221; she says.
