Okay, you8217;ve seen Ajay Devgan the actor and producer. And early next year, you could see the director. He always said he8217;d joined the industry so he could make his own film and what better way to start, than with wife Kajol and good friend Saif Ali Khan agreeing to play the lead. Well, his productions, Raju Chacha and Omkara, haven8217;t exactly shaken the box office but that8217;s no reason he won8217;t have a better run behind the camera. We guess he8217;ll be a tough director; he8217;s not decided to cast himself yet.
The KANK Side-effect
Time was when SRK and K Jo were inseparable like Uday Chopra and his lipstick. But now, KANK seems to have crimped the equation. Well, King Khan was apparently unhappy with the way his character in the film played out and sounded Karan Johar about it. Not much came of it but for Karan rushing off to a Europe holiday to cool his collar. Things are so bad that at a recent public event, when a television journalist asked SRK on K Jo8217;s getting into TV software with a news channel, the star had nothing to add beyond a cursory 8220;no idea8221;. Wonder if Karan8217;s heard about KBC yet.
Missing in Action
In the modelling world, you8217;ve got to be as big as Kate Moss to survive a drug bust. However, relative newcomer, Londoner Shivani Kapur, managed to do that. Kapur took the Indian ramp by storm five years ago then suddenly disappeared from the scene, allegedly into a drugs-induced hibernation. However, after a long stint in rehab, she managed to make a comeback and land another contract with Lakme and a movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali . However, Kapur, 24, has now vanished once again. She wasn8217;t visible during the recent Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai, and everybody in the rag trade is asking where she is. We8217;ll keep you posted.
