
Matthew Hoggard and Andy Caddick swept England to victory over Sri Lanka by an innings and 111 runs with more than a day to spare at Edgbaston on Sunday. Sri Lanka, 383 behind on first innings, were bowled out for 272 in the second session on the fourth day, giving England a 1-0 lead. Hoggard finished with 5/92 and Caddick took 3/67.
