He received valuable support from SK Varma who made 89 runs with 14 fours. Earlier, Uttar Pradesh, resuming their second innings at the score of 103 reached 297 with the help of captain Mohammed Kaif8217;s unbeaten knock of 122. Andhra got three points on the basis of the first innings lead and Uttar Pradesh obtained one.
