NEW DELHI, JANUARY 22: Delhi University Students Union president Jaivir Rana and secretary Ritu Verma threw papers, pen-holders and paper weights on the floor of registrar Prof K.K. Panda’s office today. They were demanding the submission of the Rathore committee report which has probed the ransacking of the DUSU office on January 15. A Khalsa College student’s ire over being refused entry into the annual festival at Ramjas College on January 14 had sparked off a clash between two groups of Delhi University students. One group ransacked the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) office, while the other retaliated with rods, hockey sticks and chains.

Two students from Ramjas College, Siddharth Kumar and Sashi Sekhar, were hospitalised. Several others sustained minor injuries. Jaivir Rana, DUSU president, and two others were arrested.
