MUMBAI, SEPT 23: Shalmali Inamdar won a double, winning the women8217;s and junior girls title in the MIG Cricket Club-conducted District Ranking Table Tennis tournament today.
She defeated Shalmali Mhatre in the women8217;s final in three games but faced stiff challenge from Rujuta Rege in the girls final which went the distance. Shalmali won after being down 1-2.
The men8217;s and boys final were well contested. Gandeep Bhiwandkar won in four well-fought games against Nachiket Chawathe while Mitesh Puranik won against Eric Fernandes after being 0-2.

Junior boys: Mitesh Puranik bt Eric Fernandes 16-21, 19-21, 21-19, 21-13, 21-14.
