Diwali bonus’ for airport thieves

OCTOBER 23: Jaspal Bhatti, the famous comedian of the Ulta Pulta fame, has come up with a brilliant idea, to give diwali bonus to thieves, after all “even theives are entitled to a bonus,” he said. Jaspal had this brainstorm when he had some ulta sulta things happening to him at the Santacruz airport on October 13. His bag which contained Rs 35,000, some important documents and a palm-top was stolen. The momentous occasion occured while he was busy making some enquiries and payments at the airport counter. When he turned around after a few minutes he found his briefcase missing. He immediately told the police about the incident, who took him to the air-port’s police station where a complaint was lodged.

Living up to his image of the infamous comedian, Jaspal has decided to offer Rs 5,000 as diwali bonus to the airport thief, if he returns his important documents and the palm top. The thief can keep the cash (Rs 35,000), if he wants to. After all “This is the right time to offer the bonus to the theives,” he said.
