The authorities of Renuka Dam have stated that a separate budget is being provided for the local development of the area. Officials added that 1.5 of the total budget of the project will be spent on development works.
The total cost of the project is Rs 2,500 crore. The district administration will spend Rs 40 crores on the area, in a phased manner. The Delhi Government had provided Rs 200 crore for the purpose.
