Dept celebrates annual day

VADODARA, Feb 17: Fishermen song, Garba and Qawwali, jokes and all this in Sanskrit. This was how the staff and the students of the Department of Pali, Prakrit and Sanskrit of the M S University celebrated their annual day on Tuesday.

The students presented various items in Sanskrit. Graduate, post graduate students and research scholars participated in the programme. The students sang Garba and Quwwali and all in Sanskrit.

One of the students Shweta Kaluskar sang a fishermen8217;s song in Sanskrit. Another student Prashant Purohit presented a paper on how the ongoing, Sanskrit year,8217; could be celebrated.
