
CHANDIGARH, Nov 19: The Haryana Government has released another installment of dearness allowance DA to its employees on both revised and unrevised scales of pay with effect from July 1. The government has also announced another installment of dearness relief DR to pensioners.
Announcing this here today, Finance Minister Charan Dass Shorewala said the additional installment of DA would be paid in cash with the November pay in December and arrears on account of enhancement in DA from July to October would be credited to the account of General Provident Fund.
He said employees drawing revised scales would be given DA at the rate of 22 per cent of their monthly basic pay. Those getting unrevised pay up to Rs 3,500 per month would receive DA at the rate of 203 per cent. Those drawing pay between Rs 3,501 and Rs 6,000 would be given DA of 152 per cent, subject to a minimum of Rs 7,105 per month. Those drawing basic pay above Rs 6,000 would get 132 per cent DA, subject to a minimum of Rs 9,120 per month.
The minister said pensioners drawing revised pension or family pension would be given 22 per cent DR while against unrevised pension or family pension up to Rs 1,750, DR would be 203 per cent. Those drawing a pension between Rs 1,750 and Rs 3,000 would get DR at the rate of 152 per cent.
